Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support primary and secondary aged boys with Autism 
  • Recognise situations and ensure de-escalation before disruption occurs.
  • Maintain good relationships with pupils, exercise appropriate authority, and act decisively when necessary.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of how pupils learn and how to meet their individual requirements.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with special needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience working with children who have complex emotional needs.
  • Ability to recognise situations and ensure de-escalation before disruption.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain good relationships with pupils.
  • Demonstrated understanding of different learning needs and how to support them.
