Description
- Handling day-to-day financial transactions such as invoices, expenses and payments.
- Supporting the accounting team in preparing and maintaining financial reports.
- Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
- Ensuring financial records are kept up-to-date with the latest transactions and decisions.
- Helping with the annual audit preparation and participate in the process.
- Contributing to the development of the company's financial management systems and processes.
- Resolving accounts payable and receivable issues or queries.
- Assisting in payroll preparation by providing relevant data.
Profile
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- A proven understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
- Excellent numeracy skills with an attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
