  • Proven experience running and programming 5-axis CNC machines.
  • Experience with Mazak/Mazatrol machines is a strong plus. If you don't have Mazak experience but you ARE a confident 5 axis CNC Programmer then please do still apply as training will be offered on the specific machine.
  • The opportunity to work on a new state-of-the-art Mazak machine.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience with CAM software for generating CNC programs (e.g. Mastercam, PowerMill, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, and fixturing.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with engineers, machinists, and other staff.

Person spec:

  • Experience with 5 axis machining (ideally Mazak machines).
  • Knowledge of 5-axis machining techniques (3+2 positioning, simultaneous 5-axis).
  • Experience with producing parts for the Aerospace/Defence/Motorsport industry.

Salary: £48-51kHours: Working hours are Mon-Thu 7.00 - 17.30 and Fri 7.00 - 12.00Fixed 45 hour per week (39 hours basic plus 6 hours overtime)Application Process: We aim to respond to all applicants within 5 working days.
