Michael Page Logistics are supporting our client with the recruitment of a site manager for a Material Recovery Facility.
Client Details
Our client provide skip hire, demolition & waste removal services throughout the South East Of England. The role will be based at the prestigious facility in the Maidenhead & Windsor area.
Description
You will have the following responsibilities:
* Responsible for safe and efficient running of waste management and recycling within the waste transfer station.* Controlling production input and output, ensuring processes run smoothly and managing expectations * On site Health & safety monitoring and ensuing compliance with legislation.* Controlling budgets and attending meetings* Direct interface with clients to assist with the resolution of customer concerns.* Work to improve site layout and operations.* Sampling/analysis of waste where required.* Write and implement operational policies to provide continuous improvement.* Management and development of MRF various staff* Build strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
Profile
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:* Strong commercial understanding of waste recycling.* Knowledge of relevant health and safety policies and procedures.* Self-motivated as well as a good motivator* Confident and effective people management skills.* Be open to and encourage change.* Be proactive and constructive in problem solving and conflict management.* Be approachable and professional.
