About the Job

This role focuses on ensuring timely debt collection, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the finance team with credit control processes.

Duties will include:

  • Chasing outstanding invoices via email and telephone.
  • Processing received payments and updating records accordingly.
  • Keeping detailed records of collection activities and correspondence.
  • Investigating and resolving internal and external debt-related queries.
  • Preparing monthly debtor reports and aged debt records.
  • Initiating legal proceedings if necessary, after pre-legal collection efforts.

The ideal candidate will have excellent client service skills and strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to handle difficult conversations. A methodical approach, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel are essential. You should be proactive, resilient, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
