Day-to-day of the role:
  • Support classroom teachers in delivering educational material and engaging activities.
  • Assist in preparing lesson materials, equipment, and classrooms for class activities.
  • Provide individual support to students requiring additional assistance with their work.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in school meetings and events.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably within secondary education.
  • Strong understanding of classroom duties and student interactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A proactive approach and a commitment to student development.
  • NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent is preferred but not essential.
