A specialist school in Ascot is looking for a motivated individual to join their SEN team, supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. As a Sports Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students to overcome barriers to learning, build resilience, and develop key life skills through tailored support and encouragement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide focused one-on-one and group support to students with SEMH needs, fostering emotional regulation and positive behaviours.
- Use your sports background to encourage teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN professionals to create a structured and engaging learning environment.
- Proactively manage challenging behaviours with patience and professionalism.
- Act as a role model, inspiring students to achieve their potential in and out of the classroom.
