Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative with a Forklift Licence and excellent attention to detail? Our client is looking for someone like you to join their team! As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations, working under the guidance of the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.Responsibilities:

  • Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to efficiently pick and pack orders
  • Prepare and complete orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Receive and process stock products using the WMS
  • Maintain good in/goods out procedures
  • Assist with stock replenishment
  • Book in deliveries and communicate any issues or discrepancies to management
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to Health and Safety Standards

Requirements:

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Forklift Licence (Bendi/Pivot Steer preferred, but at least Reach and Counterbalance)
  • Professional appearance and good verbal communication skills
  • Dependable and reliable, with a diligent attention to detail
  • Excellent numerical skills and computer literacy
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with both management and co-workers
  • Proactive mindset and ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed
  • Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System and bar code scanner

Physical demands:

  • Loading and unloading goods from vehicles
  • Stacking goods in correct racking/storage bays
  • Handling empty pallets
  • Picking and packing onto pallets and cartons for courier collections

Working hours & Benefits:- Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm45-minute unpaid lunch break2 x 15-minute tea breaks (am and pm)
