Housekeeping Assistant

Location: Ascot, SL5 8BQ

Salary: £12.92 per hour

Hours: 5am - 9am, Monday to Friday, 42 weeks per year.

The Role

Housekeeping Assistant has an important role to play with regards to the service of the cleanliness of the school. We seek a practical, capable person to start as soon as possible. The position incorporates assisting with school events and the Summer School programme, including the occasional Saturday work. The role is to clean all areas of the school, duties to include, but not exclusive to, vacuuming, dusting, rubbish collection and disposal. This is an interactive role with other staff members, as well as students, which requires conversational English.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Punctual and flexible attitude to work.
  • To work in line with the School Health and Safety Policy.
  • To always be presentable.
  • Work in a professional way that is acceptable to your work colleagues, other School staff and the pupils
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential.
