Stores/Machine Operator/Lab Assistant

Salary: £12ph

Location: Ascot

Hours: 35 hours per week, (over 4 days) working 8am-5:15pm

My client who are based in Ascot are seeking a Stores/Lab Assistant to join their fast growing team. The purpose of the role will cover the manufacture of the testing equipment and the dispensing and labelling of them, within a well maintained manufacturing/laboratory environment.

Due to the location candidate should be able to drive or live within 5 miles of Ascot

Daily duties

Operating automated machinery

Carrying out manual dispensing and labelling of liquid reagents

Perform manual laboratory activities

Support to other departments as required.

Calibration and workplace maintenance of all relevant lab equipment

Maintaining the laboratories to a GMP/GLP standard

Following Health & Safety procedures

Reporting low stock levels to Supervisor/ Manager

Perform any manufacturing tasks assigned by Supervisor/Manager

Qualifications

Experience working in a laboratory-based or manufacturing environment.

Skills/Abilities

Attention to detail and pride in work.

Works proactively both individually and in a team.

Good organization.

Ability to follow procedures.

Ability to manage time effectively.

Good communication skills.

Computer literate.
