BJ24 Mechanical and Electrical Team LeaderLocation: AscotSalary: £45,000 - £47,000 (Dependant on Experience)Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Overtime Opportunities Available)Overview:First Military Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical and Electrical Team LeaderThis is an incredibly exciting opportunity to work on a prestigious site in Ascot.Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the people management of the M&E Team and acts as a role model in setting exacting standards of personnel commitment.
  • Responsible for Health and Safety within the M&E Team and contractors under your direct control, making sure that RAMS are received, filed, and followed.
  • To ensure and maintain the estate in accordance with operating procedures.
  • To undertake regular inspections of the estate, making sure any faults are repaired within deadlines.
  • To conduct regular tests of alarms and systems, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and kept up to date.
  • To be responsible for procurement of materials, tools, and service providers for maintenance tasks with the Support of the Facilities Management team.
  • Supervise the running of M&E projects in support of the M&E Manager including consulting with other Team Leaders to implement skills such as Maintenance, ICT etc.
  • Produce weekly reports for the Facilities Team Manager.
  • Produce weekly planners for the team to understand the needs and wants of the business.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Recognised formal Mechanical or Electrical qualification (City and Guilds or equivalent)
  • Considerable experience as a building service engineer for a large organisation.
  • Reading and understanding of drawings.
  • Hands-on experience of building services and building management control systems.
  • Knowledge of relevant Health & Safety, Electricity at Work regulations and COSHH requirements.
  • Experience of fault-finding techniques.
  • Experience of leading a team.
  • Computer literate with a good standard of ICT knowledge including Microsoft Office.
