One of my vibrant and inclusive secondary schools in Ascot are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Drama Teacher to join our dynamic Performing Arts department. The successful candidate will deliver engaging drama lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a love for the performing arts and encouraging students to develop their creative and expressive skills.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality drama lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Develop and implement a creative curriculum that inspires and challenges students.
  • Organize and direct school productions, drama clubs, and extracurricular activities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in drama education and incorporate new techniques and resources into teaching.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Drama, Performing Arts, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching drama at the secondary school level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for drama and the ability to inspire students.
