Are you a CTA qualified or finalist accountant with significant personal tax experience ready to enjoy a defined pathway of progression with a thriving UK Top 50 firm of accountants?

We’re seeking a motivated professional able to autonomously oversee a portfolio of personal tax clients. If you’re experienced in providing outstanding customer service and technical acumen to sole traders, partnerships and trusts, this role could be perfect for you and we’d be delighted to discuss it with you in greater detail.

This firm enjoys and outstanding reputation and seeks a committed and hard working accountant who may be working at Tax Senior level with some supervisory experience. You’ll be a natural leader and able to work alongside other departments at the firm to offer a joined up approach and seamless client relationships.

Job Purpose
  • Manage a personal tax portfolio across compliance and advisory.
  • Preparation and review of personal tax returns and computations.
  • Preparation and review of P11Ds and PSAs.
  • Manage HMRC enquiries, liaising on behalf of clients.
  • Work alongside other departments at the firm supporting with tax queries.
  • Oversee junior staff, including workflow management, reviewing work, and providing training.
  • Build strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and resolving complex issues.
  • Keep up to date with taxation news and legislation.
  • Champion professional development, undertaking regular training opportunities.
  • Support the Senior Managers and Directors on an ad hoc basis.
  • Business development and networking.
