Job Title: Prison Administrator

Hours: 08:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday. 08:00-16:00 Friday.

Location: Ashbourne

Contract: 3 months - possible to extend

Main Purpose: To provide wide range administrative support services to an operational contract or functional team.

Qualifications

  • Education to GCSE level or equivalent

Skills

  • Familiar with/exposure to management systems or other similar data entry and reporting database applications
  • Able to develop and maintain good working relationship.

Experience

  • Previous experience of working in a generalist administration/business support role

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update records within various management information systems
  • General 'team' administrative duties as and when required
  • Share information to ensure customer needs are met
  • Maintain office systems in an orderly manner
  • Undertake other basic business support duties as part of a team
  • Role is mostly reactive and takes direction from team members
  • Work as part of a team, but can also operate stand alone when required
  • Takes direction from Business Support Coordinator/Manager and senior team members
  • Receives and disseminates information to other team members to ensure delivery
  • Assists with the delivery of services to the client
  • Will handle confidential information with discretion
  • Input to and maintain spread sheets/databases/systems and produce and collate reports
  • Raise purchase orders and arrange payment of invoices
  • Administer petty cash
  • Provide cover for reception where appropriated/required
  • Responsible for reception duties as required
