Position: Maintenance Electrician
Location: Hulland Ward, Ashbourne (Derbyshire)
Starting Salary: £47,585 p/a (40 Hours)
Standard hours:
W1:Monday to Friday 6:15am-3pm with Saturday morning usually covered between 6am-12pm
W2:Monday to Thursday 2:45PM-12:30PM
Annual earnings including basic overtime:
£52,309 (43 Hours average p/w) factoring in alternate Saturday mornings.
£61,000 p/a (48 Hours average p/w) factoring in alternate Saturday mornings and alternate Friday afternoons whilst on your off shift.

Their 85 acre site in Hulland Ward is responsible for producing over 60% of Concrete products for the group, most popular being paving slabs and concrete blocks which are sold to building merchants.
Engineering team:Currently 30 strong, each shift is appropriatelyresourced with Electricians, Mechanical Fitters and Apprentices. They have strong team relationshipsand promote an inclusive working atmosphere.
Machinery List: Robots (Fanuc, ABB & Cougar), Mixing tanks, Holding Hoppers, Drying Systems, Kilns, Conveyors, Pumps, Weighing systems, Vision Inspection, Bagging machines, Shrink Wrappers and Palletisers.
PLC's:Siemens, Allen Bradley & Mitsubishi
The Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
- Maintenance and installation on a wide range of LV/HV equipment.
- Fault finding using PLC's, Multi-Meters and at times Schematic drawings.
- Resolving breakdowns, fixing machinery and replacing electrical components.
- PPM Maintenance, carrying out routine inspections.
Entry requirements:
Qualifications:City & Guilds, NVQ or BTEC Level 3 qualification in ElectricalEngineering, Maintenance or Installation, preferably through a recognised apprenticeship.
Experience:5 years minimum experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer ideally within the Heavy industry (Aggregates, Quarrying, Recycling) though not essential.
