Our client is an established family business on the outskirts of Ashbourne. They currently run a highly successful Dairy Farm and in order to assist with their plans for expansion, they are seeking to appoint a Dairy Processing Manager.

Processing around 12,000 litres of milk per week, as well as butter production, orange juice and plans to expand into yogurt, you should be an enthusiastic individual, willing to carry out the following tasks:

  • Daily running of the pasteuriser, homogeniser and separator along with the filling line for both glass and plastic bottles
  • Production of both salted and unsalted butter on a weekly basis
  • Assist with new yogurt production project
  • Orange juice bottling
  • Order processing and dealing with business customers
  • General promotion of the business

In order to successfully carry out this role, candidates should be very hands on with ideally dairy processing/ science experience, but not absolutely essential. You will work in a group of four with no staff responsibility but you will be expected to work as a team, sharing your knowledge and experience with the rest of the team.
