My client is a company within the fluid power sector renowned across the industry due to them being a leading distributor of high quality hydraulic and pneumatic products. They are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their sales team to drive sales across the UK whilst continuing to build and maintain existing accounts. Having extensive knowledge of the Hydraulic and pneumatic market and a drive to build a portfolio is a must to be successful in this position.

Business Development Manager

Location: Covering the UK

Package: £42,000 - £47,000 DOE,25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays, company car, bonus, pension, mobile, laptop and Employment Assistance Programme.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Develop and build relationships with clients.

Establish a strong relationship with existing clients.

Work closely with clients to offer technical support, quotations and training whilst visiting sites on a regular basis.

Source potential new leads in your area.

Report to the GM and be able provide reports / updates on clients when required.

To apply you MUST have or hold:

Strong organisational skills.

An understanding of Hydraulics / Fluid Power.

Able to source new business.

Be able to build long term relationships with new and existing clients.

Parker product knowledge.

Focused and driven to be successful.

An ability to work closely with clients and colleagues of various levels.

Good communications skills both verbally and written.

Full UK driving licence.
