Job Description:

Are you passionate about education and looking to make a difference in secondary schools? Career Teachers is seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to join our team in Ashbourne. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of education during teacher absences by supervising classes and ensuring students remain engaged in their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher.

- Ensure students complete the work set by their teachers.

- Maintain a positive learning environment and manage student behaviour.

- Provide support and assistance to students as needed.

- Implement effective behaviour management strategies.

- Support students with English as an Additional Language (EAL).

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role or working with young people is advantageous.

- Experience in secondary schools and working with EAL students is beneficial.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- A driving license is beneficial but not essential.
