THE OPPORTUNITY

A Senior Accountant position has arisen within the firm which offers responsibility for managing clients, reviewing work completed by junior staff and overseeing delivery of the firm's bespoke solutions.

As a Senior Accountant your role will involve:

Managing the workflow and portfolio of bookkeeping. VAT and management accounts clients
Year end work/corporation tax/personal tax/audits
Portfolio of your own clients with some management accounts, VAT returns, Statutoy accounts and attendance at client board meetings to support with advice
Looking at technology and ways of improving the processes - use of AI

THE PERSON

You will be an Accountancy professional able to demonstrate the following:

AAT Qualified or ACCA Part-Qualified / ACCA / ACA Qualified/ Qualified by Experience
Background within Accountancy Practice (c.3+ years)
Experience of Bookkeeping, Management Accounts, Statutory Accounts
Experience of working with SME and Owner-Managed businesses
Good working knowledge of Xero and possibly other online / cloud accounting software
