HGV Class 2 Driver (Powered Access Hire)

Location: Ashby-de-la-Zouch
Salary: £711 - £991 per week (inc OT)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Our client is a leading powered access hire company, providing high-quality access solutions to a diverse range of industries. They pride themselves on their excellent customer service, top-notch equipment, and reliable delivery. Due to continued growth, we are looking to help expand their team and are seeking a dedicated HGV Class 2 Driver for day work.

Role Overview:
As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting powered access equipment to and from customer sites across the region. You will be representing our client, ensuring that all deliveries are made safely, efficiently, and with excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely operating an HGV Class 2 vehicle to deliver and collect powered access equipment to/from customer sites.
Ensuring all equipment is delivered and collected in accordance with company procedures and health & safety regulations.
Maintaining accurate paperwork and ensuring all relevant documents are completed and submitted on time.
Conducting vehicle checks and ensuring that the vehicle is kept in a clean and roadworthy condition.
Providing excellent customer service when interacting with clients and ensuring their needs are met.
Assisting with loading and unloading of equipment, where required.

Skills & Experience Required:

Valid HGV Class 2 (C) driving licence.
CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Experience in operating an HGV vehicle, ideally in the construction or hire sector.
Excellent communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A strong commitment to health & safety and maintaining company standards.

Desirable:

Experience in the powered access or plant hire industry.
