T&K Associates have an exciting opportunity for a Wills and Probate Fee Earner to join our esteemed client in Ashby-de-la-Zouch on a permanent basis.


The Wills and Probate Fee Earner should have a high degree of self-management and be able to manage a varied degree of caseloads with initiative and drive.


Wills and Probate Fee Earner Job Benefits:

Wills and Probate Fee Earner Job Responsibilities:

  • Handling a varied caseload of wills, lasting powers of attorney, setting up and administration of trusts, Court of Protection and the administration of estates and variation of wills with minimal supervision
  • Ensuring that all work is progressed in a timely manner
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to keep clients informed of updates and timeframes
  • Complying with all file and case management quality standards in accordance with the Law Society requirements.
  • Building upon the firms reputation to attract key clients and assist with the firms marketing initiatives
  • Assisting the Head of Department with any other relevant duties as and when required and working together to promote the department
  • Diligent and accurate use of the firms Case Management System
  • Networking with other professionals and contacts, both individually and as part of a team
  • Undertaking any relevant training as and when required, and to comply with the Law Society CPD requirements

Wills and Probate Fee Earner Person Specification:

  • Applicants must be a qualified Solicitor, or Fellow of Cilex with a minimum of 2 years PQE experience
  • Experience of working within a busy wills and probate department
  • Exceptional client care skills including excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A highly organised approach and the ability to prioritise workload
  • Strong attention to detail
  • An ability to work well as part of a team as well as independently
