Inizio Engage is excited to recruit an IT Support Specialist for their Client, to work in a small, dynamic team, providing hands-on IT support for businesses throughout the UK & Ireland. The role includes supporting critical applications, ensuring quality IT infrastructure services, and driving service level improvements in collaboration with key partners and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

IT Support

  • Deliver comprehensive 1st and 2nd line support directly to users and via the approved Managed Service Provider (MSP).
  • Maintain and manage service and incident tickets, escalating issues to suppliers and providing timely feedback to users.
  • Support server and desktop hardware, including managing third-party support agreements.
  • Administer the business team's voice infrastructure and manage printers and network infrastructure security.

Application Support

  • Provide core business application support, including escalation to third parties when necessary.
  • Oversee business application administration for relevant applications in the UK & Ireland and ensure patch levels are maintained.
  • Act as a focal point for application improvements and support IT and business systems projects, from scoping to delivery, including documentation.

Asset and Mobile Management

  • Manage the company mobile fleet, including Mobile Device Management (MDM).
  • Maintain company assets and oversee user allocation for IT equipment.

Training and Induction

  • Provide training for relevant applications and conduct inductions for new staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the business to review IT processes and facilitate adaptation to ensure systems are fit for purpose.
  • Serve as a liaison with key supplier partners to maintain quality service delivery and Security compliance.

Supervisory and Reporting Structure

  • Report directly to the IT Systems & Projects Manager, collaborating with UK and Global project teams.
  • The role does not include direct line management responsibilities.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and support processes, with experience in 1st and 2nd line support.
  • Familiarity with server and desktop hardware maintenance and duties related to printer and voice infrastructure.
  • Experience managing service tickets and collaborating with third-party suppliers.
  • Knowledge of business applications and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Workshop facilitation skills, with experience providing training and conducting staff inductions.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in maintaining security standards and IT best practices.
