Associate Town PlannerLocation: Ashby

About the Role:We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Associate Planner to join an established and growing Planning Team. This role offers the opportunity to lead on diverse and innovative planning projects across residential, commercial, retail, and leisure sectors. You will manage site appraisals, site promotion, and planning applications while working collaboratively to develop new client relationships and identify cross-divisional business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prioritise your own caseload, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, including guiding them through the APC process.
  • Conduct initial site reviews and develop tailored site-specific strategies.
  • Provide bespoke advice and planning solutions to clients.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage planning applications and project-related reports.
  • Handle site submissions and representations.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and project stakeholders, including architects, landscape designers, and technical consultants.
  • Represent clients in negotiations to secure favourable outcomes.
  • Lead and participate in project meetings, public consultations, and engagements.
  • Support team members by sharing workloads and collaborating on joint projects.
  • Manage budgets, time recording, and invoicing effectively.
