Key Responsibilities

  • Machine Part Production: Produce precise machine parts and tooling with lathes, mills, and grinders.
  • Machine Assembly & Installation: Assemble and install new machinery, including:
    • Pneumatic and hydraulic components
    • Machine pipework, cabling, wiring switches, sensors, and motors
  • Maintenance Program Development: Create and implement a maintenance program that meets all legislative and company requirements.
  • Spare Parts Management: Manage spare parts inventory, source suppliers, and ensure stock levels.
  • External Contractor Coordination: Organize and oversee work with external contractors.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications

  • Required: Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
  • Preferred: Electrical Engineering experience or certification

Experience & Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar role
  • Skills: Problem-solving, analytical thinking, attention to detail, teamwork, initiative, and strong organizational abilities

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • Friday: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • 20 days holiday plus statutory holidays
