We are seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to lead a team of accountants and manage a diverse portfolio of clients within our accountancy practice. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in UK practice, with at least 5 years of UK practice experience. This role is suited for a professional who is committed to a long-term career and would be excellent for an accountant with post qualification experience who is currently in search of a new opportunity.Â
Day-to-day of the role:- Oversee and manage a team of qualified accountants, ensuring high standards of financial management and reporting.
- Ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards.Â
- Managing a portfolio of client accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.Â
- Review and finalise financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Coordinate with other departments to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
- Manage client relationships, providing high-level financial advice and support.
- Must be a fully qualified accountant
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a UK accountancy practice.
- Experience in managing and leading a team of accountants.
- Strong understanding of UK accounting and financial regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record of reliability and a credible work history.
- Experience in outsourcing is considered a bonus but not essential.
