About the Role - Business Support Officer

Provide an administrative support service to the UAS Children's Intake PM Team to support Team Manager and Social workers processing newly arrived UASC referred to Kent County Council's care.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

  • Act as a main point of contact for the Unit/section, investigating complex queries and simple complaints.
  • Support the day to day clerical and administrative functions of the team/service.
  • Arrange and coordinate appointments and meetings on behalf of the line manager and other staff within the unit.
  • Arrange and coordinate appointments for service users, including booking health appointments and interpreters.
  • Update, modify and retrieve data on both manual and computerised systems.

Required Skills and Qualification

  • Computer literate
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience working within Social Care.

Benefits

  • No weekend working. 37.5 hours per week.
  • Monday - Friday 13:30 - 22:00
  • Fully remote
  • 1 day per month you will need to attend the office in Ashford.
