Field Service Engineer - Engineering Machinery

Field Service Engineer required for manufacturer of engineering machinery based in Ashford.

• Installing and commissioning Conform (metal) extrusion lines at customer sites
• Assembling and testing machinery before deployment
• Conducting inspections and performing site maintenance
• Providing technical support to clients worldwide
• The successful candidate should be prepared to travel internationally 3-5 times per year, with trips lasting between 2 to 5 weeks each.

• HNC or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on mechanical experience
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
• Willingness to travel internationally

Preferred Skills:

• Basic understanding of electrical power and control systems
• Experience in inspection and quality control
• Familiarity with high-precision measuring equipment
• Previous experience in factory equipment installation

• This is a full time position of 37 hours per week, working 08.00 - 16.30 Monday to Thursday, and 08.00 to 13.00 Friday.
• Salary dependent on experience 30k-40k
