Outstanding opportunity for a Senior Architect to join my clients as a Project Lead based in their growing office within the Kent region

My client are widely recognised as one of the leading firms in the architectural industry, with a well-established reputation for excellence. Their studio has earned numerous awards and consistently attracts high-profile projects. They are now offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Architect to join their team in a project lead role.

The successful Senior Architect will hold proficiency both with Revit & CAD software and will ideally have a minimum of 5 years experience with an interest in working across my clients core sectors

Typical Responsibilities of the Successful Architect Candidate

  • Design and produce detailed building plans both by hand and through specialized BIM and CAD software.
  • Support the timely and efficient delivery of architectural services outlined in the project brief, adhering to agreed deadlines.
  • Navigate challenges related to town planning regulations, environmental impacts, and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with construction professionals to assess the feasibility of proposed projects.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors, and architectural technologists.
  • Apply for planning permissions and consult with Building Control and other regulatory authorities.
  • Prepare and present reports, proposals, applications, and contracts.
  • Develop project briefs in collaboration with clients.
  • Modify plans as necessary and address any issues that arise during construction.
  • While much of the work will be studio-based, regular site visits and meetings with clients will require travel.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of current and upcoming legislation affecting architectural processes to ensure continuous professional development.
  • Handle all confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate level of care.

Requirements for the Senior Architect/ Project Lead role:

  • ARB Registered and RIBA Chartered (or working towards)
  • Part 3 RIBA Qualified with UK Recognised certification
  • 5 years post qualification experience with added benefit of team leadership
  • Demonstrated success in managing and delivering multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fully Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM software.
  • Strong creativity and imagination, with an eye for innovative design.
  • Exceptional design and drafting abilities.
  • Outstanding project management and planning skills.
  • Extensive experience in overseeing projects with tight deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Sharp analytical thinking, with excellent problem-solving and mathematical skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities, along with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team and mentor junior staff.

On offer for the successful Senior Architect will be salary likely in the region of 45,000 - 52,000, Genuine Hybrid working arrangements and fantastic benefits package.
