Salary: 36,000 - 40,000 + Competitive Bonus

Car: Provided

Area Covered: South East

Working Hours: 09:00 - 17:00



About the Role

My client are looking for highly motivated and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial to expanding our Food service customer portfolio and exceeding both turnover and margin growth targets in a defined geographical area. You will be responsible for driving sales across all product categories in the Q range, developing new business, and fostering relationships with existing customers. As an ASM, you will report directly to the Senior Sales Manager.



Key Responsibilities

  • Exceed sales and margin targets set by Q.
  • Maximize business opportunities with both existing and new customers through efficient call coverage.
  • Proactively generate new business in the defined area, targeting opportunities aligned with Q's ideal customer profile.
  • Regularly track performance against daily, weekly, and quarterly KPIs and targets.
  • Ensure all administrative tasks are up to date and actively managed.


Skills & Experience

  • Proven sales experience of at least 2 years within the HORECA & Education sectors.
  • Strong sales background with a solution-based approach tailored to customer needs.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to generate new business opportunities that align with Q's targeted profile.
  • A passion for food, with a creative approach to menu suggestions, portion control, and financial costings.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, demonstrating a "can-do" attitude.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
