A Business Development Manager is needed for a small agency located near LHR, requiring previous freight forwarding experience and a stable sales background.
The role involves internal and field sales, client management, sales quotes, and account management, primarily focusing on airfreight, with some sea freight and courier services.
Candidates should ideally have 1-2 years of experience, with training provided for other areas.
The salary is open based on previous experience, plus an 8% commission on all new business generated.
The position is office-based with client meetings, working Monday to Friday.

Business Development Manager required to join this small agent locally based near LHR.

Previous Freight Forwarding experience essential and a stable Sales background.

Daily duties to include:

Internal and Field Sales
Calling prospective companies to gain new business.
Client management
Sales quotes
Account management
Marketing

Sales background , selling mainly Airfreight but also some Sea freight and Courier. Ideally experience within 1-2 and will train on the other.

They mainly handle high value scientific/electronic equipment along with AOG & Pharma

Salary on offer is open depending on previous experience + commission of 8% on all new business brought in.

This is an office based, along with client meetings. Monday to Friday.
