This role plays a key part in supporting the Agency’s business objectives by driving small commercial telephone sales, capitalising on potential opportunities from an existing pipeline, and scheduling appointments for the sales team. It’s crucial to ensure that every customer receives top-tier service, their insurance needs are fully met, and all actions align with Agency goals and compliance standards.

Duties:

  • Meet small commercial telephone sales targets while helping to build a strong pipeline of new business through high-quality, targeted customer interactions. This includes making outbound calls to current and prospective clients
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions, ensuring data is regularly reviewed and updated for accuracy.
  • identify and reaching out to potential new clients.
  • Support the business development team’s campaigns by managing call volumes and converting leads into viable opportunities.

The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets in a telesales, sales, or appointment-setting role.
  • Proven ability to consistently provide outstanding customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional approach.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in IT, especially Microsoft Office, with the ability to navigate and use NFU Mutual systems efficiently.
  • Solid numerical and problem-solving skills.
  • Capable of managing workload independently and performing well under pressure.
  • Excellent team player with the ability to build strong relationships through positive conduct, honesty, and integrity.
  • Must have own transport and a full UK driving licence.
