I am seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join a specialist manufacturing company with a vibrant and busy environment. The role involves selling and distributing products across the UK and Europe. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with experience in growing and developing business, managing large accounts, and reporting P&L to senior leadership teams.
Day-to-day of the role as Regional Sales Manager:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations.
- Report on forces that shift strategic directions of accounts and tactical budgets.
- Prepare reports on account status and provide P&L reports to the senior leadership team.
- Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Regional Sales Manager:
- Proven work experience as a Sales Manager or similar role within the manufacturing and engineering sector.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills.
- Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe as required.
