Blackfield Associates is partnered with an expanding Pharmaceutical manufacturer. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project Engineer their team, based in Kent.

The core responsibility of the role will be to provide hands-on technical support to operational and quality teams to execute qualification and validation. You work to integrate new equipment into their manufacturing facility. As part of your role you will lead improvement projects, process and equipment qualification, and the introduction of new products. You will be flexible and be able to work collaboratively within a growing team.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Work with internal teams to increase efficiency and effectiveness of operational teams
  • Document installation and qualification activities

In order to be considered, you must have a demonstrable within a GMP environment, ideally pharmaceutical. However, other aligned industries such as consumer health, medical device and food/beverage manufacturing will also be considered.

Applicants will need a strong understanding of GMP regulations and lifecycle/change management. In addition, the post holder will have hands on experience with a QMS system. Any qualification within Lean Six Sigma will be advantageous.
