PSR Solutions are currently looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager to work for a Civils & Marine specialist contractor, this will be working on multiple packages in Kent.
Tasks and Responsibilities
You'll need to be able to deliver and maintain a high level of commercial and technical knowledge and you will be working closely within the Commercial and Delivery team, this is so that you can develop different solutions so that it meets with the business needs.
Business Leadership
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will need to understand the impact of the different commercial and technical changes at a strategic level within the customer's industry or sector. This will include anticipating, planning and understanding any changes that happen within the commercial resource throughout the project.
You'll need to have a good understanding, Require and have knowledge of:
- Procurement
- Applications for Payment and Invoicing
- Cost Control
- Accounting and Reporting
- Subcontract Administration
- Tendering and Pre-Contract Activities
- NEC 3/4 & JCT experience.
- Be able to manage multiple packages on their own.
- Supporting the Commercial Director
