Mechanical Estimator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mechanical/Plumbing Estimator to join a well-established, family-run business based in Kent. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in estimating for residential projects ranging from £5-30 million.
Key Responsibilities:-
Prepare multiple detailed Mechanical/Plumbing estimates for residential projects.

Conduct meetings with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Assist in preparing Labour Histograms, draft programs, cash flow forecasts, material schedules, and procurement schedules.

Collaborate with the Electrical Estimation Team to provide joint bids.

Review specifications, schematics, and drawings.

Produce accurate cost estimates and take-offs while keeping updated on material and labour costs.

Negotiate deals with suppliers and subcontractors.

Support the contracts manager, commercial team, and supervisors with live projects.

Experience in high-rise residential sector and Design & Build schemes is essential.

Proficiency in estimation software such as Quickscale and Extreme Estimating is preferred but not essential.

Office-based role, Monday to Friday.

Competitive Salary: £50k - £80k package, depending on experience.

Potential for Company Vehicle: Offered upon successful completion of the trial period.
