Are you an experienced Estimator seeking a rewarding opportunity to work with a well-established Tier 2 Main Contractor in Ashford, Kent We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Estimator to join our dynamic team of up to five estimators, working on new build and refurbishment projects up to £20 Million in value.
With over 100 years of industry experience, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality construction projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in the preparation and delivery of accurate and competitive tenders, working on exciting projects that truly make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for new build and refurbishment projects.
- Work collaboratively with the estimating team and project managers.
- Use Conquest software to produce precise costings and take-offs.
- Assess project specifications, drawings, and documentation to ensure full compliance and accurate pricing.
- Identify potential risks and opportunities within projects.
- Contribute to the development of tender submissions and project pricing strategies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in estimating within the construction sector (Tier 2/Main Contractor preferred).
- Proficiency in Conquest software or similar estimating tools.
- A solid understanding of new build and refurbishment projects, particularly in the £20 Million range.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
