Our well-established client working within the waste industry are looking to onboard a reliable and experienced Health & SafetyManagerto join their team!

Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing health and safety policies to promote a culture of safety
- Identifying potential hazards and assessing risks to prevent accidents and injuries
- Conducting training sessions to educate employees on safety practices and emergency procedures
- Investigating accidents and incidents to determine causes and recommend preventive measures
- Ensuring the organisation complies with health and safety regulations and standards
- Maintaining records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions, and preparing reports for management
- Providing guidance on safety-related matters, such as fire safety, hazardous materials, and occupational health
- Developing and implementing emergency response plans and conducting drills
- Regularly reviewing and updating safety policies and procedures to improve workplace safety
- Previous experience of environmental assessment reporting would be beneficial
Requirements:
- Experience within a similar role is essential
- Health and safety qualification
- Experience overseeing all aspects of health and safety
- Flexible and reliable with a good attitude
- Team Player
