Eventus Legal is seeking a Senior Conveyancer to join a highly regarded regional law firm based in the Heathrow area. This is a permanent, full-time job with an established, reputable law firm who are renowned for providing quality, bespoke legal services to a diverse client base. Role Responsibilities

The incoming Senior Conveyancer will join an established law firm with a strong local presence and links to the community. With sound technical expertise across all aspects of Conveyancing, you will be responsible for undertaking fee earning work with a resolute and balanced approach.

Your duties within this Senior Conveyancer role will include:

  • Managing a range of property matters from initial instruction through to matter conclusion
  • Providing cost estimates to new clients
  • Opening files and progressing matters in line with the firm and SRA’s procedures
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, commercial agents, mortgage lenders and Solicitors by telephone, post, email or in person, as necessary, at every stage of the transaction
  • Undertaking any additional relevant tasks including dealing with pre-exchange of contract work, title reports, searches, raising enquiries etc.
  • Managing post-exchange work and registrations, including completion statements
  • Contributing to business development activity and networking events on behalf of the firm
  • Providing support to colleagues in the Property department as required

Person Specification

The incoming Senior Conveyancer will be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 to 8 years’ PQE, preferably within a reputable law firm or legal department.You will also be able to demonstrate:

  • Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Competence in Microsoft Office products and accounting software programmes
  • Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
