Hours:Full-time Monday to Friday 9.00-5.00

The Role

We have a fantastic and exciting opportunity for a driven, energetic and enthusiastic Telesales Executiveto support the Agencys business strategy by delivering on small commercial telephone sales targets, maximising sales opportunities from the current pipeline of small commercial prospects, and booking appointments for the sales team.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver small commercialtelephone sales targets and support development of new business pipeline through high quality and targeted customer service.
  • Outbound calls to existing and potential clients, obtaining general insurance renewal dates and new quotations to pass to the sales team to quote.
  • Positively impact Agency sales through prospecting new clients.
  • Review areas of success and to develop best working practices across the new business development teams.
  • Produce up-to-date records for every customer interaction and contact, including regularly reviewing and updating data records to ensure accuracy.
  • Always demonstrate high values of trust and integrity, acting as a positive role model in line with the values and ethos of the Agency.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships within the Agency team and all relevant key contacts and teams within NFU Mutual.
  • Ensure all duties are carried out in a way which complies with relevant external legislation and regulation, internal compliance and other procedures and local Agency policies and processes.
  • Support the business development team with campaigns, helping to deliver upon required call volumes and converting leads into opportunities
  • Deliver ad-hoc projects and/or other duties as required, to support the delivery of business strategy and enhance customer experience.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven track record in targeted telesales/ sales role or appointment generator role
  • Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good IT skills especially Microsoft Office and the ability to effectively use NFU Mutual systems
  • Good maths and problem-solving skills
  • Able to manage own workload and able to work effectively under pressure
  • Great team working and ability to build effective relationships through positive behaviours, honesty and integrity.
  • Own transport & full UK driving licence
