Customer Service Advisor

South Kent

£18,000 - £33,000 DOE

Permanent full time role

Pearson Whiffin are recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor to join our client, an established insurance firm. Our client is open to taking on an Apprentice, Customer Service Advisor or a Customer Service Supervisor; this will be dependent upon experience.

As a member of the customer service team, you would be the primary point of contact for all customers dealing with customer queries, policy changes, claims and everything in between!

Duties:

  • Advise all customers on insurance policies and requirements.
  • Identify cross selling opportunities and take part in sales activities.
  • Build a strong knowledge of company products.
  • Sustaining a good level of working relationship with customers and other employees.
  • File customer claims following the correct company protocol and procedures.

The successful candidate must have/be:

  • Previous customer service experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Have great telephone manner.
  • Well organised.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Previous experience in the insurance sector (essential requirement for the supervisor role).
