Finance Data Administrator

Location - Ashford

Contract - FTC to March 2025

Salary - £30,000 to £35,000 DOE

Hours - Mon to Fri 8am - 5pm

Our client is seeking a Finance Data Administrator who will be working with the management accounts department and support their daily operations, focusing on data validation to prepare for new accounting software implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the management accounts department.
  • Support data validation in preparation for new accounting software.
  • Work closely with the finance team to maintain a collaborative and positive work environment.
  • Maintain clear and timely communication with colleagues and management.
  • Ensure the department's strategic goals are met efficiently.
  • Pay meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in handling large volumes of data.
  • Collect and validate data from current software for seamless transfer to the new ERP system.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data within given deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the sales ledger team during peak times.
  • Validate customer and sales data, preparing files for the new software upload.
  • Work with the purchase ledger team during busy periods.
  • Validate supplier and purchasing data, preparing files for the new software upload.
  • Engage in various tasks, including bank, asset, stock, overheads, and foreign exchange.
  • Confirm and validate balance transfers, preparing files for the new software upload.

Requirements

  • Proven experience across all areas of finance functions.
  • Experience in system implementation is a plus, but not required.
