Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Producing detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for client approval and fabrication.
  • Collaborating with engineers and designers to develop and modify designs.
  • Ensuring all drawings comply with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Assisting with general design tasks and overseeing project workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce accurate and detailed technical drawings using CAD software.
  • Review and refine designs in collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Maintain organised records of drawings and related documentation.
  • Stay updated with advancements in CAD technology and industry best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Experience in 3D modelling is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical and steelwork design principles.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) engineering.
  • Familiarity with fabrication processes and standards.
  • Experience in producing drawings for both client approval and fabrication stages.
