Field Service Engineer required for manufacturer of engineering machinery based in Ashford.
Field Service Engineer - Engineering Machinery Job Overview- Installing and commissioning Conform (metal) extrusion lines at customer sites
- Assembling and testing machinery before deployment
- Conducting inspections and performing site maintenance
- Providing technical support to clients worldwide
- The successful candidate should be prepared to travel internationally 3-5 times per year, with trips lasting between 2 to 5 weeks each.
- HNC or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills and hands-on mechanical experience
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
- Willingness to travel internationally
Preferred Skills:
- Basic understanding of electrical power and control systems
- Experience in inspection and quality control
- Familiarity with high-precision measuring equipment
- Previous experience in factory equipment installation
- This is a full time position of 37 hours per week, working 08.00 - 16.30 Monday to Thursday, and 08.00 to 13.00 Friday.
- Salary dependent on experience £30k-£40k
