Our Client:

Our client is a leading manufacturer of industrial machinery specialising in the design, manufacturing, and commissioning of each bespoke system.

Role Summary:

You will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical panels and components according to technical drawings and specifications. Your role will involve precise handling of wires, cables, and electrical components to ensure the functionality and safety of electrical systems.

Key responsibilities within your new role would be to:

  • Assemble electrical panels.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, diagrams and schematics.
  • Install and mount electrical components onto panels and enclosures.
  • Measure, cut, strip, and terminate wires and cables.
  • Prepare equipment for testing.
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting of assembled electrical systems.
  • Machine and factory maintenance and installation.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Experience and skills required for this position:

  • Proven experience as a Wire Person or similar role in electrical assembly.
  • Knowledge of electrical components, wiring techniques and assembly methods.
  • The ability to work to bill of materials and electrical schematics.
  • 17th or 18th edition qualification.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations.
