We are currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our well-established client in Didcot , Oxfordshire.

The successful candidate will undertake proactive and reactive electrical maintenance activities as well as other tasks, to ensure the optimum performance of the foundries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote high Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment
  • Conduct electrical maintenance and repairs to existing heavy machinery, potentially installing new plant
  • Repairs - Fault finding on electrical motors, 3-phase, inverters, sensors

Mechanical: belts, bearings, chains, pneumatics, hydraulics

  • Work with all functions and build effective working relationships

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Time Served, Advanced Apprenticeship (L3) in Engineering Maintenance (Electrical), Electrical Installation, mechanical or equivalent.
  • Maintenance experience and fault diagnosis of Pneumatics and Hydraulics systems
  • Basic continuous improvement tools and techniques knowledge
  • Candidate must be able to use hand tools.
  • Knowledge of sand conveyors but not essential
  • Must be experienced in current IEE Wiring Regulations
