The successful candidate will undertake proactive and reactive electrical maintenance activities as well as other tasks, to ensure the optimum performance of the foundries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote high Health and Safety standards to ensure a safe working environment
- Conduct electrical maintenance and repairs to existing heavy machinery, potentially installing new plant
- Repairs - Fault finding on electrical motors, 3-phase, inverters, sensors
Mechanical: belts, bearings, chains, pneumatics, hydraulics
- Work with all functions and build effective working relationships
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Time Served, Advanced Apprenticeship (L3) in Engineering Maintenance (Electrical), Electrical Installation, mechanical or equivalent.
- Maintenance experience and fault diagnosis of Pneumatics and Hydraulics systems
- Basic continuous improvement tools and techniques knowledge
- Candidate must be able to use hand tools.
- Knowledge of sand conveyors but not essential
- Must be experienced in current IEE Wiring Regulations
