The Redline group have an exciting new opportunity for an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer, based in Kent! This opening presents a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading company, specialising in electronic component manufacturing.

This is an onsite working role in Kent, and would suit a driven and ambitious individual, who is familiar with manufacturing processes within an electromechanical assembly environment.

For this excellent Electronics Manufacturing Engineer, based in Kent your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for new product / new process introductions (PFMEA; flow; standard; routing; safety, etc.)
  • Create and Communicate project updates in a clear concise manner to show measurable improvements.
  • Define / Lead / Complete Kaizen events based on analysis of cell KPIs.
  • Ensure sustainability of Improved Process through continued evaluation / reporting
  • Communication / Collaboration with cell operators; engineering team; management on project needs; status; implementation
  • Effective lean manufacturing. - VSM; Setup reduction; Flow Improvement; Waste Elimination

Experience/Skills required:

  • Ability to read engineering drawings including, items lists, wiring diagrams/lists, circuit diagrams etc.
  • Experience in a production planning environment preferably within a manufacturing organisation and working within an AS9100 accredited system.
  • Be familiar with manufacturing processes within an electromechanical assembly environment.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Experience working in a continuous improvement and a lean manufacturing culture.
