Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducts engineering activities of moderate scope or degree of difficulty
  • Performs assignments independently with limited supervision
  • Troubleshoots product-related problems
  • Prepares documentation associated with engineering activities
  • Conducts testing for assigned projects
  • Designs products using CAD and updates drawings as needed (training provided)
  • Determines resolution of moderate technical issues and ensures technical work meets specified requirements
  • Contributes to corrective action development and alternatives
  • Follows requirements of SOPs and mentors Engineering Interns
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, standards, and company documented procedures
  • Promotes and participates in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives
Job Requirements:
  • University Degree (BA degree) required
  • Relevant education can be obtained through an educational institution or equivalent work experience
  • 4-year engineering degree or similar
  • Experience in the use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques
Technical Knowledge and Skills:
  • Experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and development
  • Familiarity with CAD design
  • Understanding of engineering principles and procedures

Planning and Decision Making:Works under moderate functional supervision, usually taking day-to-day direction from a project leader at the Senior Engineer level. Assignments are screened by the supervisor for unusual or difficult problems, and procedures for routine work are pre-selected. Within these constraints, you may plan and document tests, evaluate test results, create documentation and related drawings, design components, and coordinate established programmes such as configuration management systems or change control systems.
