Cutting-Edge Medical Hardware Engineering Role - Ashford, Kent

Join our client as a Hardware Systems Engineer to work on transformative medical products that will improve lives. Based at their offices in Ashford, Kent, this is an exceptional opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electronics and firmware design of products from concept through to production
  • Prototype build, test, including specification and detailing of cabling
  • Wiring, design, detailing, crimping, and build
  • Test jig design, build, and assembly
  • PCB testing and specification
  • Cost model generation, RoHS analysis, and compilation
  • Electrical safety testing

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Ability to client-face and communicate technical information effectively
  • Demonstrable experience in digital and analogue design
  • Embedded programming expertise in C, C++, C#, Java, Python, or algorithm development
  • Familiarity with CAD tools, such as Altium, for schematic capture and PCB layout
  • Some exposure to EMC compliance design techniques and knowledge of safety and EMC standards
  • Clear and concise report writing with good attention to detail
  • Competency with Microsoft Office products
  • Hands-on, self-motivated, and willing to learn and help evolve the R&D department
