Our client, an esteemed company in the medical devices manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled R&D Engineer to join their Research & Development team. The role offers a permanent position within a dynamic engineering environment, focusing on the development and improvement of advanced medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform engineering work demonstrating full competency in conventional engineering methodologies.
  • Plan and conduct work with the ability to independently evaluate, select, and adapt standard engineering techniques and procedures.
  • Conduct engineering activities of moderate scope and independently solve product-related problems.
  • Prepare and document engineering activities, including design documentation using CAD (training provided as needed).
  • Perform troubleshooting and testing for assigned projects, ensuring technical work meets specified requirements.
  • Contribute to corrective action development and alternatives.
  • Mentor Engineering Interns as required.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards, including company documented procedures and safety initiatives.
Job Requirements:
  • Experience in medical devices development.
  • Understanding of engineering techniques, principles, theories, and concepts.
  • Proficiency in using CAD for product design and drawing updates.
  • Ability to critically review and interpret technical documentation with attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Relevant university degree (BA) or equivalent education and/or work experience.
